The short version: the NumFall app does not collect your data. What the game needs to remember stays on your device and in your own iCloud. We have no server that receives it, and we cannot see it.
NumFall is published by Ram C (“we”). Contact: support@numfall.store.
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| The name you type on the welcome screen | To greet you and show your sessions | On your device, and in your iCloud |
| Your progress: stars per level, skipped levels, Sparks, chests opened | So you can continue where you stopped | On your device, and in your iCloud |
| Your session history: level, result, time used and date of each attempt (newest 300) | So you can look back at how you played | On your device, and in your iCloud |
| Your Daily Drop results: the date, stars and time of each Daily Drop you clear (used for your streak) | So you can keep a streak and see your history | On your device, and in your iCloud |
| Settings (sound, haptics, the board you last chose, whether the daily reminder is on) and a random device identifier | To remember your choices and to merge progress between your own devices without losing Sparks | On your device. The identifier is also in your iCloud copy. |
We do not ask for or store your age, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information.
If you email us. The app and this website have a “Write to us” link that opens your own mail app. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. When you do, we receive your email address and what you wrote (the app adds its version and your iOS version to the message so we can help with problems; you can delete that line before sending). We use it only to reply to you, never for marketing, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at support@numfall.store.
If iCloud is turned on for the app, the data above is saved to your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so it syncs between your iPhone and iPad. That copy belongs to your Apple ID and is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. It is not accessible to us. You can turn it off in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, NumFall can send Apple your achievements, your total number of stars and your longest Daily Drop streak so they appear in Game Center and on its leaderboards. This is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy: leaderboards show your Game Center nickname and score to other players, and we do not receive any of it. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent and the game works the same.
If you turn it on, NumFall asks iOS for permission to show a notification and schedules a short reminder on your own device (about 7 pm, for the next two weeks, skipped on days you have already played). It is a local notification: no server or account is involved and we never learn whether it is on. You can turn it off in NumFall’s Settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
If you choose to share app analytics or crash reports with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics (for example, crash counts). They do not identify you.
The Privacy Policy, Terms and Help links in Settings open this website in your browser. Visiting it is subject to this site’s hosting provider’s logs, which we do not use to identify visitors.
If you tap Accept on the cookie notice, this website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It never runs inside the app. If you tap No thanks, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
_ga to recognise a returning browser.Your choice (accept or decline) is remembered in your browser’s local storage.
The web version saves your name and progress in your browser’s local storage on your own device. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
NumFall is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the app does not send any information to us. If you are under 13 (or the age required where you live), please ask a parent or guardian before typing your name in the app, and use a first name or nickname instead.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or the California CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal data. Because we do not hold your data, you exercise these yourself with the controls above. If you have a question, email support@numfall.store.
If we ever change what the app stores or add anything that sends data off your device, we will update this page and the App Privacy details in the App Store before the change ships, and the effective date above will change.
